1. Your photos never leave your device
This is the core design of SnapPassport: background removal, cropping and rendering all run inside your browser using WebAssembly. Your photos are never uploaded, never stored on our servers, and never seen by us. Closing the tab removes everything.
2. What we do collect
Standard, aggregate web analytics (pages visited, referrer, country-level location, device type) to understand which document pages are useful. This data is not linked to your identity and contains no photo data. We use session storage in your browser to remember an unlocked purchase during your visit.
3. Payments
Payments are handled entirely by our merchant of record. Your card details go directly to them and never touch our systems. Their privacy policy applies to billing data; we receive only an anonymous confirmation that a purchase was completed.
4. Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Only functional storage (purchase unlock state) and privacy-respecting analytics are used.
5. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. For any privacy question or request (GDPR/CCPA), contact support@idphototool.com and we will respond within 30 days.
